The campaign is active but hasn't spent anything for several days

The campaign, ad sets and ads all show as active in both Meta and Snaprime, there's no error, and yet nothing has been spent for several days. The cause is almost always a payment. After a failed payment, Meta stops the ads but often doesn't change the visible status. Then, when you replace your card, Billing shows that no payment is due, and it looks like everything is fine.

  1. In Meta, open Billing & payments (in Snaprime: Profile ("Profil") → Meta Billing) and select the ad account connected to Snaprime. Open Payment activity and look for Failed rows. The date of the last failed payment is usually the day your ads stopped spending.
  2. Set the new card as the default and remove the old one. Check whether the account has a spending limit set. If Meta's notice offers to verify your tax details, complete it.
  3. Open the Account Quality tool at https://www.facebook.com/accountquality. After repeated failed payments, Meta may restrict the account without showing it in the campaign overview.
  4. If the ads don't start spending even a few hours after the balance is paid, stop the campaign in Snaprime and launch it again. Don't turn it off in Meta; that would throw off the connection with Snaprime.

Be careful how you read Ads Manager. A dash in the Results column means no leads came in, not that nothing is being spent. You'll find spend in the Amount spent column. The Today filter only shows today; to judge, switch to the last 7 days.

Is it a new campaign that hasn't spent anything yet? Start with A new campaign didn't launch, isn't spending, or shows a different status in Meta.

If the campaign still hasn't picked up by the next day, email info@snaprime.com with the ad account name and attach a screenshot of Payment activity.
